Traditional Basel Autumn Fair
Autumn time is fair time for Basel! The Basel Autumn Fair is more than just an ordinary fair. This festival is the Switzerland’s largest fair and offers something for all generations: from thrills on the wild rides to culinary delights and sales stalls. The Basel Autumn Fair has a history of more than 550 years and takes place every year in October and November.
The fair extends over seven large squares & an exhibition hall in the city centre. The stalls at the Krämer- und Erlebnismarkt on St Peter’s Square will even stay open for two days longer.
