“Adväntsboxz” on the Marktplatz” (D’Adväntsbox uff em Märtplatz)

The Marktplatz in Basel will once again be the centre of the festival. The FLÂNEUR festival takes place on the first three Thursday evenings of Advent: 30 November, 7 December and 14 December – from 5 to 8 pm.

What awaits you?
Live music under the Christmas tree, raclette, mulled wine and other delicacies, plus lots of gift ideas under the Christmas tree.

When you can enjoy a raclette, sip a mulled wine, listen to a live concert and buy lovely Christmas presents in the middle of Basel’s market square. On these evenings, the market square is transformed into a charming Christmas village, with fairy lights in a star shape, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and live music from various local bands and DJs.
