Pumpkin Market in Basel

Every day is a new festival day at Mathis Hof in Basel, Switzerland. Over the past twenty years, the Pumpkin Festival has become a tradition at Mathi Hof and is held successfully every year.

Every year, Mathi Hof produces 100 tonnes of pumpkins. In total they grow over 250 different varieties. Here you can see the variety of pumpkins and learn what to cook and try new recipes. Besides the recipes, there are some special pumpkins waiting for you to use as decorations and feel the real autumn in your home.

Mathis Hot has a unique pumpkin sorbet that you should try during your visit.

When to visit?
The pumpkin market at Mathis Hof takes place from mid-August to mid-November. The market is open daily from 8.00 to 18.00.

What can you find there?
As well as the pumpkin market, there is also a corn maze. Fresh vegetables and bread are also available every Friday.
