What is the city and Hafen tour?
The boat goes between Basel Schifllände to Hafen. One journey lasts approx. 50 minutes. The ticket is valid for 2 hours valid. That means for one city and Hafen trip in succession.
What is the Gorge Tour (Schluesenfahrt)?
This schedule tour starts from Basel Schiflände and end in Rheinfelden. From the port tour to the Rheinsaline, past the Augst power station and the picturesque old town of Rheinfelden to the Feldschlösschen brewery. A full journey takes about 2,5 hours.
What discounts are available with season tickets (GA, Half-Fare)?
BaselCard holders receive a 50% discount on round trips. The BPG season ticket entitles the holder to free travel on scheduled return journeys. Public transport season tickets (GA, 1/2-Tax, SBB day tickets, etc.) are not valid. Extra journeys: No discount with season tickets.
How long is the ticket valid?
It depends on the journey.
City and Hafen trip: Tickets are valid for 2 hours, for the city and Hafen trips in succession.
Evening trip: Tickets are valid for several round trips in a row, so stay as long as you like!
Schleusenfahrt:Tickets are valid once for the purchased route.
Can dogs be taken on board?
Dogs are welcome on board and can be taken free of charge.
